In July 2026, I sat down to write an article I planned to title "The Crimes of Elon Musk."
But dwelling on Elon's biggest crime — the one that could propel him into the ranks of history's worst mass killers — made me write an article focused instead on how Musk, "cruelly and gleefully, condemned millions of people, many on his home continent of Africa, to death by starvation and disease, all in the cause of the garbled, selfish, and indefensible political agenda he came to late in life."

And now, just weeks before the midterms, Elon is (once again) committing election crimes on a scale that should be impossible in a normally functioning democracy.
But all of Musk's crimes, whether prosecutable or not, are still very bad — and often evil
Just yesterday, a judge ruled that Musk had abused his government power while running DOGE to knowingly spread falsehoods, intimidate an official, and engage in a coordinated smear campaign that amounted to a "conspiracy against rights."

Also yesterday, I assembled a list of Musk's other "crimes" which I posted as a thread on Bluesky
It's quite a list, including some things you may not have heard of (like torturing animals) to things that he does routinely (like mistreating workers, committing financial fraud, and defrauding consumers.)
Here are the "receipts" (screenshots).
In most cases, the articles I linked to on Bluesky show just one example of a consistent pattern of bad behavior.
