At a press conference at his golf course at Turnberry, Scotland on 28 July 2025, embattled President Donald Trump volunteered that, despite being Jeffrey Epstein's best friend for more than a decade, he "never had the privilege" of going to Epstein's notorious private island in the Caribbean.
Desperately trying to distract reporters from his relationship with Epstein and Maxwell, Trump encouraged them to focus on Little St. James in the U.S. Virgin Islands. As part of the ploy, Trump (a self-confessed serial sex predator with a history of harassing teens) name-dropped Bill Clinton and Larry Summers as the kind of rich elites the press should really be investigating.
It's revealing enough that the psychopathic Trump would (even jokingly) describe the opportunity to rape children on a secluded private island as a "privilege."
But the comment is also a "tell" in another way.
As I've written about previously, Trump also diverted attention from the scene of his worst sex crimes in 2020 when, speaking of Epstein's partner-in-child-trafficking Ghislaine Maxwell, Trump said: "I’ve met her numerous times over the years, especially since I lived in Palm Beach, and I guess they lived in Palm Beach."
The reality: Trump didn't have to visit "Epstein Island" to spend attend Epstein child-rape parties.
Trump was such a frequent attendee at Epstein's NYC mansion that in 2000, a porter who worked next to the Epstein mansion in NY told a UK newspaper, "I often see Donald Trump and there are loads of models coming and going, mostly at night. It’s amazing."
In 2024, Stacey Williams, a former Sports Illustrated swimsuit model who dated Epstein in the 1990s, alleged that Trump had assaulted her at that time inside Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue as part of a "twisted game" he an Epstein seemed to be playing.
Trump's worst alleged crime — the rape of a 13-year-girl during the 1994-95 school year — also took place on Manhattan island, just blocks away from Trump Tower at Epstein's home.
In 2023, Trump became an adjudicated rapist for an assault on E. Jean Carroll that took place at Bergdorf Goodman — a department store within a few minutes of walk of both Trump Tower and Epstein's mansion.
Let's hope that Trump's diversion to "Epstein Island" won't distract the media from the real story.
Trump may not have had the "privilege" of flying the "Lolita Express" to Little St. James.
But, other than Epstein himself, he was perhaps the most regular visitor to the child trafficker's sex parties in Manhattan.
