Today we learned that Jeffrey Epstein did indeed "farm out" his victims to his powerful friends....
... And that Epstein bragged to his victims about those friends, with his "biggest brag" being his close friendship with Donald Trump.
... And that hundreds of Epstein's victims were abused not on Epstein Island or Palm Beach, but in Donald Trump's own neighborhood in New York City.
... And that one victim who had a previously known relationship with Trump was abused by Epstein and Maxwell for "over 10 years," a timeline that indicates she remained under the Epstein-Maxwell spell even after being "introduced" to Trump and spending "a happy weekend" at Mar-a-Lago with Trump and Maxwell in 1997.
That same victim, Anouska de Georgiou, also described the threats she's faced for years — threats by phone and threats to her daughter, being followed and stalked, being followed by cars. She also told reporters that, during her abuse, Epstein and Maxwell warned her that if she talked "there would be severe consequences, even death."
The victims, along with lawyers representing them, urged Congress to end the cover-up.
For increasingly obvious reasons, the panicked Trump insisted it was all a Democratic hoax while desperately trying to kill a bipartisan petition to release the Epstein files, with the White House saying openly that siding with the victims "would be viewed as a very hostile act to the administration."
Those who believed Trump was sent by God to help them save the children from evil pedophiles will not be pleased.
But today's press conference made clear once again why Trump will never release the Epstein files.
