How can one man "accidentally" surround himself with so many child rapists?

For the past ten years, the Republican-Russian propaganda machine has been obsessed with diverting attention from Trump's weakness for young women by launching false and outrageous attacks against, first, Hillary Clinton, and then, more broadly, anyone on the left, or in the LGBTQ+ community.

For most of those ten years, the strategy convinced millions of MAGA voters to ignore the reality of Trump's decades-long history of sexual predation and fixate instead on the idea that America's children are being targeted by evil liberals who want to groom and rape them.

Many who drank the QAnon Kool-Aid also came to believe there's a massive conspiracy among Democrats, Hollywood and "global elites" to traffic and torture children in order to harvest and drink their blood.

The myth that sustained the most deranged members of MAGA world was that Donald Trump had been sent by God to save these precious children from these disgusting rapists and abusers.

For months, the myth of Trump as Savior has been steadily eroded by his steadfast refusal to release the Epstein Files, Pam Bondi's comical attempts to cover-up Trump's obvious complicity in Epstein's crimes, Trump's disdain for the Epstein victims set against his compassion for his old friend Ghislaine Maxwell, and his increasingly desperate efforts to distract from the scandal by any means necessary, including launching wars against US cities and Venezuelan fishermen.

The latest news shatters that myth completely.

God just smited the myth of Trump

On 2 October 2025, Trump's former spiritual advisor Robert Morris received a suspended 10 year sentence that included only 6 months of jail time after pleading guilty to five counts of "lewd and indecent acts" with a girl who was 12 years old when Morris, then a married 21-year-old, began raping her in the 1980s. The abuse continued for four years.

In 2024 NBC News reported that, after the victim Cindy Clemishire first came forward in 2007, Morris rejected her request for $50,000 in compensation to cover the cost of counseling and instead claimed the 12-year-old "who dressed in flowery pink pajamas and still liked to play with Barbie dolls" had "initiated inappropriate behavior" when he was staying at her parents’ home in Oklahoma.

This month Clemishire, who is now 55, said in a statement that "justice has finally been served, and the man who manipulated, groomed and abused me as a 12-year-old innocent girl is finally going to be behind bars."

Morris, who founded Gateway Church in Texas in 2000 and built it into the 9th-largest "megachurch" in America, was a major supporter of self-confessed serial sex predator Donald Trump. Morris hosted Trump on his church's Dallas campus in 2020, where Trump called him "a great person with a great reputation."

Morris, a prominent member of Trump’s evangelical advisory board, was also active in Texas politics and known to illegally encourage his church members to vote for Republican school board candidates to counteract "what Satan has been trying to do even in our school systems."

Child rapist Robert Morris joins a long list of Trump-connected pedophiles

When it comes to palling around with child sex offenders, Trump may be best known for his 15-year, joined-at-the-hip friendship with the world's most notorious sex trafficker, Jeffrey Epstein.

But Trump has both attracted — and been attracted to — the company of pedophiles for decades.

John Casablancas: In the early 1990s, Trump's friendship with Elite Model Management founder John Casablancas led to the future president becoming a judge of the firm's Look of the Year contest, in which girls as young as 14 were brought to New York to impress the older male judges. A Guardian investigation in 2020 found that "some of the men... used the contest to engage in sexual relationships with vulnerable young models."

Like Epstein, Casablancas liked women "on the younger side." So young that many of them were actually children.

An "affair" with a 15-year-old model ended Casablancas' second marriage. And, reports The Guardian: "He met his third wife, Brazilian model Aline Wermelinger, in 1992, when she was a Look of the Year contestant staying at Trump’s New York Plaza Hotel. They married the following year; Casablancas was 51 and she was 17."

As The Daily Beast reported in 2016, Trump invited models as young as 15 to entertain his friends at the "cocaine-and-sex parties" he threw at the Plaza Hotel during the 1990s, where Trump, reportedly, "was getting laid like crazy."

A 2016 Mother Jones report revealed that Trump's own modeling agency, which he launched in 1999, recruited girls as young as 14, bringing them to the US on tourist visas, putting them up in Trump apartments, and forcing them to earn enough to pay Mr. Trump the rent they owed.

One model provided Mother Jones financial statements to show that Trump’s agency charged her as much as $1,600 a month for a bunk in a room she shared with five others.

Jean-Luc Brunel: Following the death of Jeffrey Epstein, scrutiny turned to French model scout Jean-Luc Brunel, another in the modeling world who ran in the same circles as Epstein, Casablancas, and Trump. Brunel had faced past charges of sexually assaulting models in Paris in the 1980s and 1990s. In 2019, Epstein victim Virginia Roberts Giuffre alleged that teenage girls brought to the US by Brunel on model visas were "farmed out" by him to Epstein and others for sex. Like Epstein, Brunel died before facing trial for his crimes. He was found dead by hanging in a Paris jail cell in 2022.

Trump has been a magnet for pedophiles within the GOP

As noted in my prior articles "The Rapeublican Party" (2024) and "GOP: Gang of Pedophiles" (2021), during his first term:

• Trump allowed known child sex offender George Nader to sell access to the White House. In 2020, Nader was convicted and sentenced to 10 years in federal prison for the new crime of transporting a 14-year-old to America for sex.
• Trump posed with GOP operative and donor Anton Lazzaro, who in August 2021 was arrested and indicted on federal sex trafficking charges for recruiting six minor victims to engage in commercial sex acts. He is now serving 21 years in prison.
• Trump continued to give his former campaign aide Ruben Verastigui access to the Trump White House. While working as an RNC digital strategist in 2017-2018 Verastigui was part of an online child porn group where he shared messages like: "I can’t stop thinking about touching, raping, and killing a newborn baby, been hard all morning." Verastigui was sentenced to 151 months in prison on child porn charges in 2022.
• Trump employed Adam Hageman, another member of Versatigui's child-porn group, in his Commerce Department. Hageman previously had had access to impressionable children as an events planner for Charlie Kirk's Turning Point USA. Hageman was sentenced to 5.5 years for his child porn offenses in 2022.
• Former Kentucky judge Tim Nolan who served as a 2016 Trump delegate and ballot observer was sentenced to 20 years for human trafficking offenses in 2018. Nolan had a pattern of paying minors and adults for sex, in some cases recording them. He pleaded guilty to charges and allegations that included 19 victims
• Republican state senator Ralph Shortey, Trump’s Oklahoma campaign chair, was convicted of child sex trafficking and sentenced to 15 years after being arrested in a motel room with a 17-year-old boy he hired for sex. Shortey was also discovered to have sent and received child pornography and used Craigslist to seek casual encounters with males, the “younger the better.”
• Trump developed a close bond with Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz despite the knowledge that Gaetz and his close friend Joel Greenberg were partners in a multiyear sex trafficking operation that landed Greenberg an 11-year-sentence. The conclusion of the case left Greenberg's lawyer publicly dumbfounded when, after Greenberg's extensive cooperation with prosecutors, charges against Gaetz were ultimately dropped. In his second term, Trump even went so far as to propose that Gaetz should become U.S. Attorney General, provoking such outrage within the GOP that Gaetz withdrew himself from consideration

The age of Trump has unleashed a pedophilia crisis with the GOP

Even as the list of pedophiles with a direct connection to Trump keeps growing, the number of Republicans across the country being arrested and convicted for child sex crimes is exploding.

Those cases include:

• New Hampshire State Representative Kyle Tasker (R), who pleaded guilty in 2017 after trying to lure a 14-year-old girl over Facebook into a sexual encounter
• Pennsylvania State Senator Mike Folmer (R), who was convicted on child porn charges in 2020
• South Dakota Senate candidate Joel Koskan (R), who received a 10-year sentence in 2023 after he groomed and raped a family member from the age of 14 to 19
• Long-time North Dakota State Senator Ray Holmberg (R), who received a 10-year sentence in March 2025 for traveling out of the country 14 times between 2011 and 2021 to rape children
• South Carolina State Representative RJ May (R), who could face 20 years in prison after pleading guilty in September 2025 to sending "disgusting and depraved" child sex abuse videos

In December 2021, I interviewed one X user known as @cajsa about the list of Republican and Right-Wing sexual predators they maintain. At the time, that list had 700 names.

Now it has close to 1500.

How did Trump "accidentally" surround himself with so many child rapists?

There's no doubt that Trump spent much of his adult life cultivating the kind of tabloid and reality TV fame that would allow him to test out his theory that it's OK for famous people to sexually assault women because "when you're a star, they let you do it."

Trump's worst sex crimes, proven and alleged, occurred in the 1990s. It was a period of acting out that just happened to coincide with Ivanka's teenage years, during which time Trump was a frequent guest at Epstein's homes in New York and Palm Beach, and also purchased the Miss Universe and Miss Teen USA pageants, later bragging publicly that owning a teen pageant enabled him to catch underage contestants in a state of undress.

As a known adulterer who also revealed himself to be a serial sexual predator during the 2016 campaign, Trump should have been anathema to the "family values" GOP.

However, Trump's political ascendancy came at a time when his party — and the Christian Nationalist movement at large — was fully embracing the idea that poorly educated white American males were the real victims in American society, their power being sapped by feminazis, minorities, and gay people demanding wedding cakes. These angry "victims" quickly accepted the idea that no one understood them quite like Trump, a penthouse-dwelling New York billionaire who for years had pretended to be a successful businessman on a hit reality show.

Today, after ten years with a psychopathic pussygrabber as their unrepentant leader, Republicans are accelerating their efforts to subjugate women with such gusto that some conservative voices are openly promoting sex with teens as enthusiastically as the rest of the party is attacking child labor laws.

But there's also a desperation taking hold within the GOP. After nine months of Trump 2.0, the job market is collapsing, inflation is rising, and the government is shut down.

Meanwhile, Republicans have made clear that protecting pedophiles is more important to them than paying our troops.

Trump, weaker and more mentally feeble than ever, is proving day after day that he has come not to punish pedophiles, but to pardon them.

But Trump's pedophile problem isn't going away.

Every day, more and more Americans — including Joe Rogan — are waking up to the fact that Trump doesn't view rich white men who rape children as criminals.

He sees them as friends.
