The Rapeublican Party

Under Trump, a party that claimed to care about family values has been transformed into one that fully embraces sexual exploitation and violence.

The Rapeublican Party

"Somebody's doing the raping," said Trump in 2015.

And from that point on, the MAGA and QAnon movements were driven by a powerful need to protect American women from non-white, non-spousal rapists—and innocent children from fiendish, baby-blood-drinking Democratic pedophiles who lurked beneath pizza restaurants.

In the intervening years, it became apparent to millions outside the MAGA cult that every Trump accusation was a confession.

Meanwhile multiple studies showed that undocumented Mexican immigrants are far less likely to commit crimes (and more likely to be victims of sex crimes) than Trump and his associates.

Today's GOP is a "Gang of Pedophiles"

Even before he was elected the first time, Trump was on record as a self-confessed serial sex predator. Today he is an adjudicated rapist who has been credibly accused of sexual assault by more than two dozen additional women, two of whom came forward with new accusations in the closing stages of the 2024 campaign.

Trump's longtime association with child sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein has faced very little media scrutiny, even as new revelations have continued to emerge about Trump's frequent attendance at Epstein sex parties—and the recent release of hours of interview tapes with Epstein recorded by journalist Michael Wolff, who said recently on The Daily Beast podcast:

“I've never been able to understand why Trump has so easily flicked this away his Epstein relationship when there is a big body of evidence they were good friends, nightlife friends, they had a relationship whose main subject was women, and in a way that would be entirely disqualifying to anyone doing virtually anything, no less running for president. You know, young women, all kinds of women, but it was 'I can do anything with women at any time.'"

I first wrote about Trump turning the GOP into a gang of pedophiles and a party of unrepentant sexual predators on Substack in 2021. And the list of gang members only keeps growing.

Here are a few examples:

This is Trump posing with his close friend George Nader who, despite already being a convicted sex offender, sold access to the Trump White House and is now serving 10 years in federal prison for transporting a 14-year-old to America for sex.

This is Trump posing with GOP operative Anton Lazzaro, who in August 2021 was arrested and indicted on federal sex trafficking charges for recruiting six minor victims to engage in commercial sex acts. He is now serving 21 years in prison.

This is former Trump campaign aide Ruben Verastigui who bragged about his access to the Trump White House on social media while telling his online child porn group: "I can’t stop thinking about touching, raping, and killing a newborn baby, been hard all morning." Verastigui was sentenced to 151 months in prison on child porn charges in 2022.

Another member of Versatigui's child-porn group was Trump Commerce Department official Adam Hageman, seen here with Madison Cawthorn at the Trump International Hotel DC. Hageman previously had access to impressionable children as an events planner for Charlie Kirk's youth indoctrination group Turning Point USA. Hageman was sentenced to 5.5 years for his child porn offenses in 2022.

3,000 predators and counting

As of her last update, "Cajsa Littlehook" (who I interviewed here in 2021), has tracked more than 3,000 "Republican sexual predators, abusers, and enablers who contribute to rape culture."

Her list includes many on the Christian right not directly involved in politics (including policemen and pastors), but many of the predators she documents are directly involved in GOP politics.

Number 873 on Cajsa's list is failed South Dakota GOP Senate candidate Joel Koskan. By the time he was arrested in 2022 for grooming and raping a family member over multiple years, the rot in the GOP was so deep that not only did his party fail to denounce him—they paid his bail. Koskan originally took a plea deal to escape prison time but the judge was so appalled by his crimes he threw that deal out. Koskan was sentenced to 10 years on two counts of incest in 2023.

In 2024, the rot in the GOP has metastasized

Trump's complete takeover of the GOP has transformed a party that once claimed to care about "family values" into one that fully embraces sexual exploitation and violence.

This truly is "The Rapeublican Party"—one that expects zero accountability for male perpetrators even as it forces victims as young as 10 to give birth to their attackers' babies.

In 2018, it was alleged that Trump Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh "thrust his penis in the face" of one of the women he assaulted.

In 2024, Trump has given America one tiny "middle finger" after another by announcing a series of offensively inappropriate Cabinet nominees, including:

Pete Hegseth

Trump's pick for Defense Secretary, a thrice-married 44-year-old, paid off a woman who told police he raped her in 2017.

RFK, Jr.

Trump's pick to lead HHS, a thrice-married 70 year old, apologized by text in 2024 to the babysitter who claimed he groped her in the late 1990s. Kennedy, who was a year older than Pete Hegseth when the incident happened, dismissed the incident as part of his "rambunctious youth."

Linda McMahon

Trump's pick to lead (and dismantle) the Education Department was the CEO of the World Wrestling Federation as it covered up allegations of sexual abuse of "ring boys" (and then rehired the abuser). Her husband Vince McMahon has also been accused of sex trafficking and abuse by a former female employee of the WWE.

Matt Gaetz

Last but not least, Trump's pick for AG has long been known as "Rapey McForehead" on Twitter.

As I wrote in 2021:

Even a brief survey of Gaetz’s highly privileged formative years reveal a life of drunken debauchery and DUI, the attempted bribery of a hotel clerk to get into a sleeping state lawmaker’s room, the allegation that he created a “sex game” (with points for sleeping with staff) while he was a Florida state Rep., the fake “adoption” of a Cuban boy he still claims as his “son,” some weird tweets about sex, and, prior to the news of Bill Barr launching a sex trafficking investigation into Gaetz becoming public, a strange and sudden engagement to a woman who lives on the West Coast and calls him her “travel buddy.”
As news of the sex trafficking investigation broke this week, Gaetz attempted to get ahead of the story by appearing on Tucker Carlson’s Fox News show and also bragging to Axios about what a “generous” lover he was during his single (pre-engagement) days.

New revelations about Gaetz's statutory rape of a 17-year-girl have been made public this week, even as Republicans on the House Ethics Committee are closing ranks to try to protect the full truth about his drug-fueled orgies and other indiscretions.

But even if the full ethics report remains sealed, a hacker now has at least part of it. So if the details aren't made public, there's now a chance our next AG will be shaken down by a blackmailer.

In many of his Cabinet picks, Trump is favoring star power over qualifications. And clearly, the fact that some of these "stars" face serious allegations of sexual misconduct doesn't bother him.

Because as he reiterated in his 2022 deposition during the E. Jean Carroll defamation case, he really does believe that "when you're a star they let you do it."
