Elon's Laboratory

Just a quick post to highlight the fact that renowned animal torturer Elon Musk is now taking his social media experiments to a new level.

One day after being praised by Donald "I'm a fan of Elon" Trump, the world's richest exploding carmaker began the weekend by trying to get Dr. Anthony Fauci killed.

He posted this meme to his 187 million followers:

As one Redditor noted: Musk himself is "the guy who tortured numerous chimps to speedrun a malfunctioning neuralink into a human guinea pig."

More importantly: Demonizing Fauci (who was an adviser, not a decision-maker) for America's disastrous Covid response (while implicitly absolving Trump for the hundreds of thousands of preventable deaths he caused) is not only wrong, it's dangerous.

Especially in the era of Fox News and social media, we've seen how deadly it can be when influential figures aggressively attack others for false "crimes."

Actual criminal acts attributed at least in part to stochastic terrorism include: the 2009 murder of Dr. George Tiller; the 2011 shooting of U.S. Representative Gabby Giffords; the 2018 MAGA bomber attacks; the 2018 Pittsburgh Synagogue mass shooting; the 2019 El Paso Walmart mass shooting.

How far Elon can push his meme-lording before his incendiary rhetoric gets someone killed, I don't know.

But even Sarah Palin was more subtle.
