I’ve written before about how similar to Trump Elon Musk truly is. He’s a troll. He’s a racist. He’s a misogynist. He's an antisemite. He’s a criminal. And like Trump, no matter how many times his crimes or, indeed, his true evil are revealed, he continues to get away with it all.
Before he committed the genocide of dismantling USAID, Musk had shown an equal disdain for the lives of Black people when he poisoned the residents of Boxtown in Southwest Memphis.
As usual, no one stopped him, and he faced no punishment. In fact, his crimes in Memphis are now applauded by many for what it has enabled him to do next.

In a new deal with Anthropic, supposedly the most ethical AI company in America, Musk’s SpaceX is now making his Colossus 1 data center available in its entirety to the Dario Amodei-led, Pentagon-antagonizing AI systems developer.
On one level, the deal is an admission that Musk has failed in his attempt to financially cheat his to way to the top of the AI leader board. He’s built the compute that his Grok model, which is failing miserably versus OpenAI’s ChatGPT and Codex and Anthropic’s Claude models, no longer has a worthwhile use for.
On another level, the deal is a way to stick it to Sam Altman, Musk’s nemesis in the Cinematic Universe he wants to dominate. Altman’s Open AI, having fallen behind Anthropic in its coding model development, was rapidly catching up in the enterprise segment of the AI market, thanks to its superior access to compute. This deal gives Anthropic a massive new amount of compute that it needs to continue its own battle with OpenAI.
On a third level, the deal allows Musk to turn his own AI failure into a new kind of success. The deal, explains Nathaniel Whittemore of the AI Daily Brief podcast, positions Musk and SpaceX as a dominant force in compute, giving Musk the same kind of dominance in AI infrastructure that Jensen Huang of Nvidia enjoys in the world of AI chips.
It's a deal, explained Rohit Krishnan on X, that reveals once again that Musk is not the visionary genius he pretends to be. His biggest strength is his ability to build things that others have already figured out.
From a business point of view, this was a deal that Dario Amodei, the CEO of Anthropic, may have felt he had to make.
But the outcome is he is now partnering with the man who will stop at nothing to dominate the future, no matter how many people have to die.
