Toxic Tesla

If Tesla were a government agency, the whole country would applaud if a 19-year-old DOGE hacker pulled the plug on the operation.

Toxic Tesla

Amid all the economic uncertainty caused by the actions of the new Trump regime, there has been one surefire way to make money in 2025: Bet against Elon Musk.

According to Josh Schafer at Yahoo Finance: "Tesla shorts alone have raked in nearly $11 billion" so far this year.

And the backlash against world's richest Nazi continues to grow: the "Tesla Takedown" movement is planning its biggest worldwide day of action yet on March 29.

In 2025, not only has Elon's "Iron Man" mask fallen away, people are finally realizing he's not just a Trump-like scam artist. He's also, like Trump, a whiny little bitch.

Elon Musk. Is it a scam? Yep.

When he's not cosplaying as a "free speech absolutist" who bans X users for speaking out freely against him, the world's worst trans dad—now revealed as a virulent, violence-promoting racist—is illegally trying to destroy the same government that, when the president was Black, saved Tesla from imminent bankruptcy in 2009.

Can the courts stop him? Maybe, says Marcy Wheeler:

Meanwhile, in a sign that Elon's most treasured brand is now permanently tarnished, CNN reports that "the used Tesla market is crumbling."

As Elon Musk continues to take an outsized and controversial role in the US government, reports of harassment of Tesla owners and vandalism of showrooms and vehicles are on rise. That may, in part, be contributing to plunging resale values and interest in used Teslas in the United States.

And while Elon is lying constantly about the "waste, fraud, and abuse" he's finding inside the government, Financial Times has just revealed that the financial shenanigans are coming from inside the house.

In Tesla's most recent financial filings, $1.4 billion of assets “appear to have gone astray.”

$1.4bn is a lot to fall through the cracks, even for Tesla
When money spent on assets doesn’t result in assets

As Tesla's troubles deepen, Musk's own mental weakness is becoming more apparent.

He appeared "close to tears" in a recent Fox Business interview.

More recently, he's blaming trans people for all his problems.

Tesla’s in trouble. Elon blames...trans people?
Musk and his acolytes blame the massive protests on transgender people’s supposed penchant for violence.

Things are so bad that both Trump and Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick have tried, unsuccessfully, to help slow the Tesla slide.

In a rare act of bravery, Trump stands close to a Cybertruck

Musk's personal brand is now as sleazy and corrupt as Trump's. And it's not even helping him. In the latest proof that (to quote the now-banned-from-X Lincoln Project co-founder Rick Wilson) "everything Trump touches dies":

U.S. safety regulators on Thursday recalled virtually all Cybertrucks on the road, the eighth recall of the Tesla-made vehicles since deliveries to customers began just over a year ago.

And this is not just a software patch.

It's an actual design flaw that's more dangerous than being hit with SpaceX debris. Reports AP:

An exterior panel that runs along the left and right side of the windshield can detach while driving, creating a dangerous road hazard for other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.

As Car and Driver notes, this is just the latest in a steady stream of humiliating recalls that Tesla has faced:

At this point, if Tesla were a government agency, the whole country would applaud if a 19-year-old DOGE hacker pulled the plug on the whole operation.
