Things are so bad that both Trump and Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick have tried, unsuccessfully, to help slow the Tesla slide.
Musk's personal brand is now as sleazy and corrupt as Trump's. And it's not even helping him. In the latest proof that (to quote the now-banned-from-X Lincoln Project co-founder Rick Wilson) "everything Trump touches dies":

An exterior panel that runs along the left and right side of the windshield can detach while driving, creating a dangerous road hazard for other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.

At this point, if Tesla were a government agency, the whole country would applaud if a 19-year-old DOGE hacker pulled the plug on the whole operation.
