Say No to Political Violence

An urgent message from Ruth Ben-Ghiat

I’ve interviewed Ruth Ben-Ghiat here on Substack before in July 2020 and February 2021. This morning on her own Substack newsletter Lucid and on Twitter, she shared the video above, which is, in her words:

… about the historic importance of this midterm election and the costs of political violence for the country. It is directed to Republican and undecided/independent voters. It is important that it circulate widely. Please share it with your networks on and off social media and send it to any Republicans you know. Thank you!

Ben-Ghiat’s message may be lost on MAGA Republicans but should be shared widely and seen by all CEOs, corporate decision makers and anyone with a stake in America’s future who might still be persuaded to withdraw their support for “the party of business” until it ceases to be “the party of political violence.”

And that’s why I’m sharing it here with you and encouraging you to keep sharing it.
