The social media site is now "X."

It's not just the death of an iconic brand.

It's Elon Musk's admission that his version of Twitter has failed.

Under Musk, hate speech has not only flourished. It's now being monetized.

Legitimate journalism has been deboosted.

Trusted voices have left the platform.

Advertisers have moved on.

For months, Musk has failed to pay his bills and proven himself incapable of running the site.

Musk's ownership of Twitter has been an embarrassing and expensive disaster for the bank CEOs who backed him—who now look as gullible as Musk's pre-SNL Dogecoin marks.

Now the free-speech fraud and misogynistic memester (who followed 0 women during his first 7 years on Twitter) wants you to trust him with your cash as as well as your data as he turns X an "everything app" that includes banking and payments.

There's never been a better time to quit Twitter.
