More Musk Madness

More Musk Madness

In his latest rant on X, Elon Musk is once again arguing that America, a nation of more than 330 million immigrants, cannot absorb more immigrants.

Musk's entire argument is based on the notion that the Republican Party cannot possibly win elections if America becomes less white.

As a white supremacist shaped by wealth and privilege in the racist culture of South Africa, Musk cannot imagine a GOP that offers policies that new immigrants would want to vote for.

Musk's entire public persona is built on the idea of Elon being some kind of visionary. Yet he is incapable of imagining a world where the GOP competes effectively within a two-party system.

The only other interpretation of Musk's behavior is that he doesn't WANT the GOP to compete in a less-white, more diverse, more tolerant America.

He wants Republicans to impose their unpopular, Christian Nationalist agenda on the country NOW—and never relinquish power.

Musk is not hiding his fascist intent

Musk spent $44 billion on Twitter, only to turn it into a haven for Nazi and alt-right influencers who had been banned from X and other platforms for inciting hate and other violations.

After a failed attempt to topple Trump by actively using his personal platform and the Twitter algorithm to support the Presidential campaign of the openly fascist Ron DeSantis, Musk went all in on Trump.

After Trump turned the RNC into another subsidiary of the Trump Crime Family, the unqualified songstress Lara Trump dismantled the GOP's get-out-the-vote efforts, diverting cash to Team Trump and away from other candidates.

After Musk and the nutty "libertarian" Peter Thiel installed their weird brotégé JD Vance on the GOP ticket—potentially putting this principle-abandoning puppet one cheeseburger from the Presidency—Musk piled tens of millions into a SuperPAC to fund the GOP's GOTV efforts.

Musk's SuperPAC was immediately exposed for fraudulently using Google to gather data on voters in swing states while pretending it was helping them register to vote.

Now Musk's SuperPAC is desperately recruiting people to staff a last-minute GOP ground game—the one Trump's team had abandoned.

What does the world's richest, trans-hating dad get out of all this? The Musk Industrial Complex is already deeply embedded in the US government. But Musk wants more. He wants to control the future.

He knows the mentally feeble Trump is easy to manipulate with flattery and cash.

Musk has bought into the idea that rapid advances in AI will transform the world, the economy—and create massive disruption in the workforce—within just a few years. He knows that the decisions made by the US government in the next 4 years will be crucial.

Musk's massive support for Trump—through relentless personal promotion to nearly 200M followers, manipulation of the X algorithm, manipulated content spewed by GrokAI, and massive financial support for the GOTV effort—has already positioned Musk to play a big role in Trump 2.0.

If Trump wins, Musk will have a "Manchurian VP" in place, at the ready to invoke the 25th Amendment if necessary. But in the short term, Musk will have a permission slip from Trump to influence the government—and shape spending and regulations to give him AI dominance.

Musk is a national security risk

In his rabid quest for power, Musk has abandoned his former commitment to fighting climate change and has allied himself with far-right global climate deniers.

Musk is no friend to the environment in his own business practices. TIME reported that one SpaceX launch caused more environmental destruction than "Sixty years and thousands of NASA launches—including 135 of the space shuttle alone and 18 of the massive Saturn 5 rocket."

Right now, Musk is actively polluting the mostly Black community of Boxtown in Southwest Memphis. NPR reports that he's using 18 illegal methane generators to power his new "Colossus" data center. He needs the compute so that blue check users can pollute X with more Grok memes.

What if Musk fails to elect Trump?

He's already used X to support the idea of ending democracy through violence if necessary, proving that he's no friend to America or the majority of its people.

WIRED calls him a "national security risk." And certainly, if any foreign leader shitposted about America as much as Musk, we'd view him as an enemy. Instead we've given him the contract to build our new spy satellites.

The election is only 37 days away. Hopefully most Americans will agree: The Trump-Vance-Thiel-Musk surveillance state is not something anyone should want to vote for.
