If He "Aced" the Dementia Test, Why Repeat It?

Turns out Trump has taken the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) test TWICE this year, in April and October.

He's bragging he "aced" it both times.

But does that even make sense?

Why repeat a dementia screening test if it didn't reveal a problem the first time?

The primary reason for doctors to conduct a 6-month repeat of the MoCA test on a patient like Trump — a 79-year-old man with a family history of Alzheimer's — is to continue tracking any mild or moderate cognitive impairment the first test revealed.

As Dr. Vince Greenwood told me in October 2024:

Once you meet the diagnostic criteria for Mild Neurocognitive Disorder (which he appears to have done at least a year ago), the risk of deterioration to full-scale dementia is around 15% per year, thus rising to around 60% over four years.

I explained back in March 2024 why it was "time to get serious about Trump's mental deterioration."

In April 2024, I explored the genetic and lifestyle factors that, according to the medical literature, increased — or potentially multiplied — Trump's risk of Alzheimer's or dementia.

But, as with the Epstein Files, the New York Times and other major news organizations thought it was a topic they didn't need to investigate fully until after the election.

Today, Trump's mental disintegration is impossible to hide even during the few hours each day he's allowed out in public.

The chatter about Trump's cognitive decline is now so loud it's even penetrating the president's own media bubble. He just announced on social media that "it’s seditious, perhaps even treasonous" to talk about how mentally feeble he has become.

The prognosis Dr. Greenwood offered in October 2024 is now playing out in real time:

It is more likely than not that, during the next four years, his current disorder will progress to full-scale dementia with its accompanying loss of functioning in fundamental areas such as dressing, eating, and toileting. The research on the course of individuals with his current level of cognitive decline underscores this prediction.

As I've pointed out before, Trump said during the 2024 campaign that if a vice president “lies or engages in a conspiracy to cover up the incapacity of the president,” they should be removed from office.

In the process, he handed JD Vance (and Vance's handlers Elon Musk and Peter Thiel) a card that can be played whenever the moment's right.

Based on Trump's own words, it's now Vance's duty to invoke the 25th Amendment whenever Trump's incapacity becomes impossible to conceal.
