Trump is under fire today for tweeting that 75-year-old Martin Gugino, hospitalized by a shove from Buffalo police that cracked his head on the sidewalk and left him bleeding from the ear, "could be an ANTIFA protester."
As NBC's Ken Dilanian pointed out on Twitter: "The 'correspondent' on the story Trump cites here also works for Sputnik, a Kremlin propaganda network. The story is based on an anonymous post to a conspiracy web site."
As I noted previously, in a tweet picked up by Raw Story, the cops involved in the incident offered the Nazis' Nuremberg Defense for their actions: "They were just following orders."
Meanwhile, as Trump is busy defending cops by promoting dubious conspiracy theories he sees while watching OANN in the middle of a pandemic, an economic crisis and a national uprising against systemic racism, Rep. Ayanna Pressley notes:
To quote Don Lemon from April 27: “How much longer is this going to go on?”
