Elon's Hate Machine

DOGE's "waste, fraud and abuse" mantra makes no sense when set against Elon's promise of a world in which AI unlocks "abundance" for everyone. What's he really up to?

Consider these three news stories that broke this week:

1. An 11-year-old girl took her own life in Texas after she was tormented by classmates who threatened to call ICE and have her family deported from the U.S, reports The Independent.
2. Five people in New York have been charged with subjecting a transgender man from Minnesota to 'repeated acts of violence and torture' for weeks before murdering him, reports The Guardian.
3. Elon Musk launched Grok 3, his latest version of xAI's "anti-woke" AI model that instantly allowed premium X users to, for example, write "profanity-laden" content about "racial stereotypes" with a prompt that gets blocked by ChatGPT and every other large language model (LLM). It was a prompt that generated a response "so offensive" it cannot be shared on YouTube and could get you arrested in many countries, reports Fireship.

For the apartheid-educated Musk, "anti-woke" has moved beyond a racist dog whistle. It's now a full-blown Nazi call to arms.

For all non-white and LGBTQ+ Americans, Musk's "anti-woke" extremism is very bad news. (The only immigrants who get a pass are those "indentured" to Musk companies like Tesla, SpaceX, Neuralink, X or xAI by virtue of an H-1B visa, or the undocumented immigrants Musk uses and abuses whenever he needs cheap, non-union manual labor.)

Amid a distressing surge in hate crimes based on "race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, disability, gender or gender identity," Musk is also adding an "Unhinged Mode" to his new Grok 3 model, which the xAI website says will allow you to create content that is "intended to be objectionable, inappropriate, and offensive."

As we've seen with his cavalier attitude to the lives of non-white people from Gaza to sub-Saharan Africa, Elon Musk is sociopathically unbothered by the violence and mental harm he's inflicting on anyone he doesn't approve of right here in America, including his own trans daughter.

"Racist Technology in Action"

Even prior to the launch of Grok 3, The Racism and Technology Center, a public benefit foundation based in the Netherlands, wrote that xAI's Grok represents "Racist Technology in Action," having been programmed with a lack of guardrails to ensure that it "willingly generates racist and other deeply problematic images."

As noted in an August 2024 report from The Center for Countering Digital Hate, Grok accepted "hateful prompts and generated images that could promote hatred of Jews, Muslims, black people and LGBTQ+ people."

The fact that Grok is the only LLM with access to X's firehose of hate speech and misinformation makes it even more prone to skew its real-time news analysis, while allowing users to create realistic images that are racially and sexually offensive, and potentially dangerous.

As part of the Grok 3 launch, Musk celebrated the rapid build of his Colossus data center in Southwest Memphis.

How did he build it so fast?

As I explained last September, in his race to create Colossus, Musk poisoned a mostly Black community in Southwest Memphis "with a colossal amount of extremely dangerous pollution. Without the legally required permits."

Musk Is Already in Unhinged Mode

In 2025, Musk is living out his video game fantasies and trying to defeat—and become—the final boss of a world he believes is all just a simulation anyway.

Culturally, Musk’s persona—a mix of meme-driven engagement and performative defiance—has helped normalize extreme individualism and billionaire exceptionalism.

On social media, Musk has turned Twitter's once-moderated public forum into X, a chaotic, crypto-scam and porn-infested space designed to radicalize young men with misinformation, hate speech, and right-wing extremism, presented under the guise of "free speech absolutism."

Politically, Musk absorbed all the socialism America had to offer before taking a Dark MAGA turn and going all-in on fascism.

In 2024, he became the only billionaire ever to self-finance a successful presidential campaign. And he wasn't even on the ballot.

As a reward, Trump is now allowing Musk and his DOGE warriors to usurp the populist MAGA movement and replace America's democracy with a potentially irreversible form of tech fascism.

Musk is working fast to infect the U.S. government with "anti-woke" AI and surveillance technologies that are powered by his twisted, racist, misogynistic, drug-fueled, anti-regulation, anti-labor worldview—and will be impossible to un-install.

A Perilous Moment

In 2024, the "vote-counting computers" Elon knows so much better than anyone declared that Trump was the winner in a very close election.

It was a "triumph of the will" for Elon that laid bare the sickness and stupidity of the electorate he manipulated incessantly, algorithmically, and often illegally.

Right-wing media called it a "mandate" for Christo-Fascism.

The authors of Project 2025 thought victory was theirs alone.

But then Elon and the "Nerd Reich" moved in to take control before Steve Bannon or the Heritage Foundation knew what hit them.

So on one hand, we're still going backwards fast, with the GOP and their billionaire backers waging a brutal war on workers, seniors, the poor, women, minorities, LGBTQ+ people, the disabled—and anyone else not demonstrating enough loyalty to the new Christo-Fascist regime.

On the other, we're also accelerating toward a future that Trump doesn't understand and only Musk and the tech billionaires will have the power to shape.

The "waste, fraud and abuse" mantra of Elon's current DOGE effort makes absolutely no sense when set against Elon's promise of a world in which—in just a few years time—AI makes work obsolete and unlocks "abundance" for everyone.

Why cut spending now and risk crashing the economy if none of it will matter by 2030?

For Musk, it's a battle to achieve the ultimate, invincible high score that cements his place atop the leaderboard of a data-intensive world controlled by AI, robots, and surveillance systems designed to ensure obedience and which will use a militarized "pre-crime" army of thugs and drones to quash resistance before it begins.

If Elon wins, there will be no abundance. We'll all be doomed to live inside Elon's hate machine.
