There’s no “March for Science” this year because scientists are telling us to stay home… and the only protesters spotted in America lately have MAGA hats on their heads and/or guns strapped to their chests.

So I’m taking a break from bad news today to share some pictures, videos and links to show what’s been happening to the planet while humans are on lockdown and animals are taking to the streets…

Penguins went looking for a zebra crossing in Cape Town, South Africa.

Wild boars took to the streets in Haifa, Israel:

Meanwhile in India’s smoggiest cities, blue skies are back.

Of course, the lockdown won’t heal the planet and Trump is still doing all he can to speed up the environmental destruction. But bluer skies have helped Germany produce a record amount of solar power:
